Mindi is a survivor of physical and sexual abuse as a child. As an adult, she has been a survivor of a drug-facilitated sexual assault, being gang-raped as a teenager, and assaulted.
After she graduated from Florida Atlantic University in women’s studies, she spent five years counseling women and providing clinic defense at the Presidential Women’s Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
She is now a board member of the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence and the Founder of The Inner Truth Project which offers therapeutic services to survivors of sexual assault and trauma.
